A quick note

“God never withholds from His child that which His love and wisdom call good. God's refusals are always merciful -- "severe mercies" at times but mercies all the same. God never denies us our hearts desire except to give us something better.” ~Elisabeth Elliot
Some wildflowers I found in our area.
I call tell when summer is over when my list
of demands grows longer.  I got bombarded
yesterday with so many requests for my time
that I made the mistake of saying no to a few
things that were good because all of the
demands came at once.

"Clarity"
I put the requests in one category instead of
saying I would pray about each one and get back to them.

I just pray that I will follow the path
that God has appointed for me and not get caught up on the expectations of others.

Remember, He has walked the path you travel.
He knows what you are going through.

I know anytime you make time for a friend you are blessed! :)

Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.
Proverbs 16:3

Trust in the LORD and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture.Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him and he will do this:

He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn, your vindication like the noonday sun.
Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes.
Psalm 37:3-7

Gratitude

Gratitude can transform common days into thanksgivings, turn routine jobs into joy,and change ordinary opportunities into blessings. ~William Arthur Ward

                                                                Happy Spring!

If we had no winter,
the spring would not be so pleasant.
~Anne Bradstreet

And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

Colossians  3:17
