A project of people, growth and faith

One of my art shows gave the vendors tulip bulbs last year and this is one of my favorites. 

Summer is underway  and for most of us that means hot weather, vacations and outdoor activities.   I still have appointments with my family member to tend to, but thankfully they have slowed down a little, so I can get some painting done.  The project I am working on right now are a series of three paintings.  I am calling them "A People Project"  a series of three paintings from photos that I love of people in quite different settings.  Two are almost finished and the third I haven't found which photo to use yet.  I am trying to paint what I truly love and would like to see painted myself.  Painting people can be most fascinating and the most challenging also.  Hopefully, in my next post I will share some progress.

Today

I was in charge of our tiny garden this year.  Gardening is actually similar to art and to anything in life.  It takes a step of faith to plant, paint or do anything on a bare canvas, a sheet of blank paper or a plot of dirt. Moving forward with faith allows growth.  Hope in miracles from an unchanging God with a trusting and fearless heart.
