  Fundraiser for hunger
Donate here⸙

I'm painting a series of paintings to show the work World Vision is doing to help children and families living in poverty.

Please, join me on cheering me on and giving to World Vision's East Africa Hunger Crisis fund. Our gifts will save precious lives and help stop the further spread of famine. Because of grant funds, our gifts have 7X their regular impact, which will provide emergency food, clean water, access to life-saving medical care, and more to children and families fighting for their lives.
Inquire within to see which pieces are still available.

One of the best ways to help a hungry child is to sponsor them.

Joy

Sometimes I wonder about my life. I lead a small life. Well, not small, but valuable. And sometimes I wonder, do I do it because I like it, or because I haven’t been brave? So much of what I see reminds me of something I read in a book, when shouldn’t it be the other way around? I don’t really want an answer. I just want to send this cosmic question out into the void. So good night, dear void.
~Kathleen Kelly "You got Mail"

Painting #8 of my art project series. This one challenged me, I still may do some little fine detail when it’s dry and I don’t really know what kind of trees these were but I sure got lost in the complexity of them.  I had company, extended family issues, work and I wondered if I could get this one done, it was the most challenging one yet.

I always play music while I paint and this dance (or game) seemed to go pleasantly with this so I called it “Joy”.

God, help me to be
Closer to You Lord so I am farther from me
And may Your kingdom be the only one that I seek, oh God
And God, help me to see
That everything was good when You created all things
Now let me see with those same eyes that created me, oh God

God, help me believe
When everything around me points to uncertainty
Remind me of the hope of You that's living in me, oh God
And God, help me to shine
Like stars up in the universe that's Yours and not mine
And fill me with Your light so that the darkness will hide, oh God

Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Amen

God, help me to give
Everything to You that I'm unable to give
And make my life the life I've been created to live, oh God
And God, help me to go
And follow where You lead me so all nations will know
The Lamb of God who takes away the sins of this world
Oh God, my God

God help me to be~ Cloverton

Im taking a short break to recharge and refocus!

I was just so discouraged with some some of the things that happened over the last few weeks and my slow progress.  It is hard to think that I was making any progress at all.  I was wondering if all of this was really worth it,  (the project) if it is truly making a difference,

then this happened!

A note came in the mail within a few hours after that thought from a man I talked to that was handling my mother's estate after her death a few months ago.  We were talking about prophetic gifts and signs (not me) :) just in general.

God's timing is perfect and I can just rest in that!

“Do something nice for yourself today. Find some quiet, sit in the stillness, breathe. Put your problems on pause. You deserve a break.” -Akiroq Brost

Maybe I need a little dance, rest and play too! :) Just a thought!

Hopefully it brings you a little smile, beauty and joy in this world!
And don't forget a little rest and play too!
Have a good day!

The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing.
Zephaniah 3:17

Now if I could make time to practice,
this could actually sound like music! :)
