Light on a hill 🕯

“At this Christmas when Christ comes, will He find a warm heart? Mark the season of Advent by loving and serving the others with God's own love and concern.”
Mother Teresa 🕯

≀Merry Christmas

I knew this month would be really busy,  so I just painted one piece based on something that caught my eye this year.
A little village called "Nativity Village".

A little town in Portugal nested in the valley of the Acor Mountains,   a quiet place with just a few residents.  It is named "Nativity Village" because when it lights up at night it resembles the original nativity scene in Bethlehem.

I am looking forward to after Christmas when my schedule slows down. (really)  :)  Sad to say but I work alot over the next week or two,  but I will still count all my blessings this Christmas and look for the joy and peace that comes with it every year.
It always comes! :)
Wishing friends blessings this Christmas!  Ones I get to see and ones I don't.   Have a lovely Christmas with family and many more blessings for the coming year!♡🕯
“But oh! the blessing it is to have a friend to whom one can speak fearlessly on any subject; with whom one’s deepest as well as one’s most foolish thoughts come out simply and safely. Oh, the comfort — the inexpressible comfort of feeling safe with a person — having neither to weigh thoughts nor measure words, but pouring them all right out, just as they are, chaff and grain together; certain that a faithful hand will take and sift them, keep what is worth keeping, and then with the breath of kindness blow the rest away.”

🎜♪What a friend we have in Jesus ♫♪

The world waits for a miracle
The heart longs for a little bit of hope
Oh come, oh come, Emmanuel
A child prays for peace on Earth
And she's calling out from a sea of hurt Oh come, oh come,
Emmanuel And can you hear the angels singing
Glory to the light of the world Glory, the light of the world is here
The drought breaks with the tears of a mother
A baby's cry is the sound of love Come down, come down,
Emmanuel He is the song for the suffering He is Messiah,
the Prince of Peace has come He has come,
Emmanuel Glory to the light of the world
Glory to the light of the world
Glory to the light of the world
Glory to the light of the world
For all who wait For all who hunger For all who've prayed
For all who wonder Behold your King Behold Messiah Emmanuel,
Emmanuel Glo-glory to the light of the world
Glory to the light of the world Glory to the light of the world
Behold your King Behold Messiah Emmanuel,
Emmanuel The world waits for the miracle
The heart longs for a little bit of hope
Oh come, oh come

You are the light of the world.
A city on a hill cannot be hidden.
 Matt 5:14

A little short and sweet, a message of hope
and good news,
have a blessed Christmas!
Titus

Feliz Natal!

Nevertheless, there will be no more gloom for those who were in distress. In the past he humbled the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, but in the future he will honor Galilee of the nations, by the Way of the Sea, beyond the Jordan—

 The people walking in darkness
    have seen a great light;
on those living in the land of deep darkness
    a light has dawned.

You have enlarged the nation

    and increased their joy;
they rejoice before you
as people rejoice at the harvest,
as warriors rejoice
    when dividing the plunder.

For as in the day of Midian’s defeat,

    you have shattered
the yoke that burdens them,
    the bar across their shoulders,
    the rod of their oppressor.
Every warrior’s boot used in battle
and every garment rolled in blood
will be destined for burning,
will be fuel for the fire.

For to us a child is born,

to us a son is given,
and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called
    Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
    Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Of the greatness of his government and peace

    there will be no end.
He will reign on David’s throne
    and over his kingdom,
establishing and upholding it
    with justice and righteousness
from that time on and forever.
The zeal of the Lord Almighty
    will accomplish this.
Isaiah 9
