Valentine πŸ’Ÿ

What color is in a picture, enthusiasm is in life. Vincent Van Gogh

This Valentine's Day my gift is a touch of color to brighten your day.  This year's weather has been brutal, very dreary and life's circumstances have also been tough this year.  I  found myself praying more and more for loved ones, friends and family more than ever.
I know that Spring is around the corner and God is holding the ones we care about so deeply in His loving arms.

The most beautiful place to be in the world
 is in someone’s prayers.

When your arms can’t reach the people who are close to your heart, hug them with your Prayers. ~Unknown

This brings me to the hummingbird. (God's Tiny Miracle)

I have been seeing them everywhere lately!  This joyous little creature painted with every color of the rainbow.  A work of art that God designed Himself. (the three pictures in the gallery above)

Out of all the hummingbird sightings, the most shocking one was when I was sitting on the couch with my husband and one flew at the window looking at us and flying back and forth. There are no flowers or feeders to attract the little hummingbird but he seemed more interested in us inside then trying to find food, but one of the most memorable ones (just a few days later) is when of a man came into my work with a little brown box and said to a coworker and me, "would you like to see my hummingbirds in my box"?
"Your freaking me out" (this was too much, I thought) I said, and he proceeded to say he just got out of prison and he wanted to earn money to make these hummingbirds.  He opened the box, showing us two beautifully beaded hummingbirds.

Heavenly Father, whose glory fills the whole creation, and whose presence we find wherever we go: preserve those who travel; surround them with your loving care; protect them from every danger; and bring them in safety to their journey's end;
through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“All truly great thoughts are conceived while walking.”
― Friedrich Nietzsche

People are like stained - glass windows. They sparkle and shine when the sun is out, but when the darkness sets in, their true beauty is revealed only if there is a light from within.
~Elisabeth Kubler-Ross

“White is not a mere absence of color; it is a shining and affirmative thing, as fierce as red, as definite as black. God paints in many colors; but He never paints so gorgeously, I had almost said so gaudily, as when He paints in white.”
– G. K. Chesterton
Always remember you are loved!♡
so much so that He gave His one and only son and whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.

“Color! What a deep and mysterious language, the language of dreams.”
– Paul Gauguin

“For we were saved in this , πŸ’• but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance.” Romans 8:24-25

One of my Valentines,
sponsor a child today!
She mentioned in a letter that she’s grateful she doesn’t have to get married as a child. She is 12 now and I know she is realizing how powerful a sponsorship can be to a girl in country where other girls are getting married as children.

Happy Valentine's Day!
